I am not convinced that it is not worth the energy to have Perl specific
documentation but I certainly think it would be great to have stand-alone
examples.

I am convinced that a good Perl documentation would be helpful, but too bad that those who know well WxPerl don't have the necessary time and motivation.

Wx::Demo is great but I always have some trouble extracting the actual
part that I need to achieve something.
In Padre we started to create a set of examples of wxPerl using
stand-alone scripts.
We already have 4 ! ;-)

I have also found WxDemo very hard to use and I also needed simple scripts that work.
(And in addition, WxDemo also has some accessibility issues.)

In my opinion, WxPerl is the best perl module for creating GUIS even though Perl is not a very good choice for creating GUIS.
