Which Ubuntu version are you running? On my Ubuntu 6.10, I see that libmotif3 and libmotif-dev were both obtained from the Multiverse repository. Do you have this repository enabled in your /etc/apt/sources.list file (or in Synaptic)? Lesstif is in the "universe" repository, because of its different license. > On 3/1/07 2:50 PM, "Tom Russo" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > On Thu, Mar 01, 2007 at 10:53:41AM -0800, we recorded a bogon-computron > > collision of the <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> flavor, containing: > >> > >> On Mar 1, 2007, at 9:41 AM, Greg Eigsti wrote: > >> > >>> What is the name of the OpenMotif package under Ubuntu? > >>> > >> > >> You will need libmotif3 and libmotif-dev. > >> > > > > For all of your information, I list the entire set of packages that are > > needed to build xastir from source on Ubuntu 6.10 on the xastir wiki page > > <http://www.xastir.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo:Ubuntu_6.10> > > This includes the OpenMotif package, and describes how to switch from > > lesstif to openmotif if you've already installed xastir with the other > > library. > > > > It is rather straightforward, but there are a lot of packages to download. > > > > _______________________________________________ > Xastir mailing list > Xastir@xastir.org > http://lists.xastir.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xastir -- Tom Russo KM5VY SAR502 DM64ux http://www.swcp.com/~russo/ Tijeras, NM QRPL#1592 K2#398 SOC#236 AHTB#1 http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?DDTNM "And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway?
