Yea, LANG=C. Good. I really wish that printf/sprintf/fprintf/scanf/fscanf/scanf didn't change their operation based on that variable and others. The real fix for Xastir would be to stop using those functions, but that's a lot of work. When we do our next go-around we'll have to fix this problem as well. It used to be mostly a non-US problem, but due to UTF proliferation it's hit us now as well. Default on most Linux installations is now UTF-something. Mine is "en_US.UTF-8" on OpenSuSE-10.3. -- Curt, WE7U: <www.eskimo.com/~archer/> XASTIR: <www.xastir.org> "Lotto: A tax on people who are bad at math." -- unknown "Windows: Microsoft's tax on computer illiterates." -- WE7U The world DOES revolve around me: I picked the coordinate system! _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list Xastir@xastir.org http://lists.xastir.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xastir
