One person's crap is another person's required feature.

I do not know whether it was my requests or whatever, but the introduction
of "sort by recipient" for outbox folders was certainly a god-send for me.
And that was quite a recent change - and potential bug introduction.

vfolders not quite so; were it to just apply to individual files, I would
have been as happy (if not more so....). But general concept was enormous
help to me.

This latest addition - Re[n] - was news to me when it was announced; but,
once announced, I asked about the counter as suffix as it would automate
something I currently do manually, as xcmail does not have "threads";
would that be preferred? True, I could/have live/d without it, but presumably
there was demand, especially given Jrgen's previous comments about
quitting xcmail development.

Actually, the use of Re[n] has shown to cause problems in this particular
thread of emails..... This is the fourth Re[7] in this general
correspondance (at the time of writing).

Of course, one does not need to upgrade every time; one of my friends
remains on 1.4devel as he does not like vfolders at all. So which version
was the nearest to ideal, if xcmail's now considered to be bloated?

Anyway, Jrgen, I can/have sometimes help out with enquiries, maybe write
a bit of documentation, but my programming is really not up to helping on
this (given my lack of success with folders.cxx). But I have other
committments which are unpredictable.

Regards,

David Pilgram.
Not an XCmail developer.
Just helping out, after giving
Jrgen so much grief in the past.
