I use log4j by simpling having a log4j.properties along with the
build.xml of samples. IMHO this is enough : easy to explain, no
-Dblabla to add everytime,...

I don't think this is possible, nobody will track changes from
everybody, this is not viable in opensource with overloaded people like
us all (as far as I can see ;) ), we all have to kick the ass of the
developers that submit a patch without a doco change. Anyway if
somebody voluteer I would applause.
