I think the xnf bug was always present, but might have been masked
by the dom0 network backend driver.  For a Solaris dom0, the backend
network driver xnb was optimized in snv_81 (CR 6616384) and I suspect
that this uncovered bug 6703227.

I'm not sure how the Linux Dom0 network backend driver works, but maybe
using linux dom0 network backend with a solaris domU network frontend 
masks the xnf bug, too.
