If your distro doesn't offer Aurora, you could presumably download it

As you appear to be one of the Mozilla cognoscenti, Jonathan, could
I ask you to clarify this "Aurora" thing ? I have known for some time
that the less risk-averse could download "Nightlies", "auroras" and
betas", and whilst "Nightlies" and "Betas" were completely clear, I had
(and have) no idea whatsoever what an Aurora might be.

Simply a stage between Nightly and Beta. Not as risky as Nightly, because it's primarily intended for testing and stabilization rather than a place where new stuff is being developed on a continuous basis; but not yet as widely-tested as Beta.
