And what would you put in such "Self contained mail server"? Calling 
directly to MS-SQL database APIs? Or direct Exchange communication? Active 
directory sync-up?
Do you realize that XMail has to run in a few other OSs than the freaking 
Winblows?
XMail gives you tons of external plug-ins, to accomplish different tasks. 
Of course, you don't want to write them, and you come whining here. It is 
plenty of mail servers around, just pick another one.
