It works if you've got enough memory in your computer. Loading kof99 needs a lot more memory than for loading kof99p: you not only need memory for loading xmame and the roms from the zip file, but you also need memory for the decrypted version of each "c" rom. Last week, I only had 128Mb RAM in my PC and I was not able to load kof99. kof99p worked though.
