how do you run it? do you have a mode line of the correct resolution? this could be my problem. i have an old monitor that won't scan less than 640X480. if i run in windowed mode i get the full 60fps. it's only when i do scaling that i take the hit. can scaling really cause that much of a downturn in performance?
are you running scaled, roi? thanks for the help, sam On Saturday 05 January 2002 11:09 am, you wrote: > You told you tried to run Marvel Super Heroes and was slow > it should run fine, i play it > i got 700Hz and 128 mb ram. > > > > On Sat, 05 Jan 2002 09:04:42 -0600 > > Frank Cox <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On Sat, 05 Jan 2002 06:04:23 -0800 (PST) > > > > samuel davidoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Both versions won't run some of the more complicated > > > games at full speed. > > > > > > Now this isn't bad, and is certainly playable, but i'm > > > pretty sure my machine could do better. > > > > > > Am I right? > > > > Probably not.
