Is anyone else out there using XFree86 4.2.0 with a Matrox G400? When I switch to fullscreen DGA mode, it works fine. But when I switch back, the screen goes black and the keyboard doesn't respond. (I forgot to try the magic SysRq key, and just rebooted.)
I also built 4.2.0 from sources using fairly conservative CFLAGS (-O, for one), and this time it only crashed the X server when I switched back from fullscreen mode and left me with a working console. On a related note, especially for Shyouzou Sugitani, how is the Radeon support in XF86 these days as compared to the G400?
