I run Linux 2.4.17 compiled with ext3 support. None of my partitions are ext3 
at this time, does that make any difference? I've got a big drive I plan on 
making journalled, but I haven't put it in yet. The only box I really get 
uppity about uptime is my webserver. =] I'll have to upgrade X, but I should 
do that anyway, so....

I'll give it a try sometime soon.
