Darn, I'm running Red Hat 7.2 with my own grustibus rpm package... could it
be my xmame binary location? or because it is stripped? or...?

I'd love to switch back too... I guess I need some more poking around with
both xmame and grustibus then. I'll do that and let the list know what was
going wrong if I ever find the cause. Until then, any ideas are welcome :-)

BTW, another question : What is the preferred path for all xmame files in a
binary package? Is it /usr/games/xmame/... or spread in
/usr/games/{bin/lib...}, or maybe directly in /usr/{bin,lib}? I'm just
wondering as I haven't found two programs that expect to find files in the
same place ;-)
