sourceforge should be contacted then, and this project should be removed.
I will try contacting sourceforge myself and I will do all I can to force
the xbox mame project off sourceforge.
Here is the response I received from Sourceforge:
I've contacted the admin of this project.
The MAME License is a OSI-like license so we don't see this
as a TOS issue.
However the GPL license needs to be clarified. It appears
that his code is under the GPL...but he has copied the MAME
tree (not under GPL) which he needs to properly mark as
non-GPL or remove it from his project.
He's being cooperative on this matter.
Hmmm, the project admin obviously doesn't know that the MAME License is
NOT Free Software material due to code usage restrictions, and therefore
cannot be considered "OSI-like", as he claims.
