Greetings! I am trying out the new xmame version (0.70), and I am having a trouble with the sound... It is working and everything, but the problem with it is, that everytime you jump (or with some occurrance with the bosses), there is a screeching sound, like somebody tries to rip the speakers (read: VERY annoying) I have detected a very similar problem on the windows version of mame. Does anyone knows, what is wrong / can anyone look at this?
