I would personally prefer to stick with github. Admittedly, I haven't experienced the developer side of launchpad, although as an Ubuntu user, I've spent my share of time on Launchpad-hosted bug trackers :) If a bunch of us are already using github, I don't see an advantage to using a different venue.
