I also notice you have a ruling parameters option (but unfortunately
with slightly different syntax than mine).

Further, I found your touch_screen_as_hand option a great idea.

Despite my strong support for Git, I've never actually used it to fork
anything. (I mainly use it to download branches / forks so far, but have
little time to contribute.)

Can you tell me what you'd like me to do? Should I create my own fork
and send you a merge request? Or can I create a branch on your repo?
What's the best collaborative way?

I don't have much spare time at the moment; but need a stable working
Xournal for every day work (I use a tablet for all my scratch work).
