Thanks! I also did a search for Xournal on github, and it looks like the two of yours are the only ones that have been updated in the last 6 months. (There is one by tauu that was updated 7 months ago). OK, will read up about this a little and figure out what to do. My main use is for scratch work and writing my lecture notes, so I don't care about new features; though I can't survive without the ones I added (invert colors, and saving the ruling parameters into the journal). I'll try and upload these patches into a git repo and send you guys pull requests. But it'd be much nicer if there was just one repo with branches for both your patches...
