Just to follow up after giving a little more thought... The kernel module doesn't taint it since I'm recompiling it from source. the NVdriver.o module (although it doesn't specifically have a MODULE_LICENSE("GPL")) also doesn't have any conflicting or proprietary license. Now my understanding might be wrong, but it SHOULDN'T be tainting the kernel. Only the X driver (nvidia_drv.o) is closed source. Perhaps you have something else tainting it? -me -- Windows has detected that you have moved your mouse. Your system must now be restarted for the changes to take effect. - Unknown _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
