  Ian, for Sun XUL is a clear platform threat. Sun
doesn't support XUL but only supports a free browser. 

  For example, Sun pours million of R and D dollars
into Java Server Faces (JSF) - a gigantic kluge built
on top of HTML - instead of doing the obvious and help
build next-gen browsers using next-gen XML markup
languages.
  
 Anyway, you're a techie living in a politics free
utopia who believes all the propaganda big companies
throw at you.

target. Sometimes it pays to be an outsider because it
