I do not use opensolaris everyday, so I don't know if dtlogin
got kicked out of opensolaris entirely.
But if not, as I mentioned in the previous email you can disable gdm and
enable cde-login, and boot from text, then I think you can get 
everything you want.

I have not tried this yet, but I think it worth a shot. Anyway, it just 
a temperory
workaround, gdm will work fine when we have virtual terminals.
