Cde Kanego, I appeal to you leader to engage me privately with regard to my resignation in the YCLSA as you had the privilege to read the reasons I stated in the confidential letter I wrote on the 4th of November 2008 to the Provincial Committee of YCLSA . We (me and you) once engaged on the issue when we met at Nandos in Nelspruit and you promised to come back to me but you did not. Or is this the way you find necessary to interact with me? Raising the issue in this forum makes me wonder whether you are genuine or have a issue with me or seek popularity. The issue you are raising has been raised may-a-times in this forum and I think its time I clarify my issue. For your information and others in this forum, I still believe in marxism-lenninism and will continue to respect and apply all marxists theories as documented by communists including but not limited to the Road to Socialism, Youth Ten Demands, Dialectical Materialism, Medium Term Vision etc. I am a member of the ANC and ANCYL in good standing and have participated fruitfully in my branch before, during and after elections. When I subscribed to this forum, my membership details of YCLSA were not requested thus I assumed it does not form part of the requirements to participate in this forum. Maybe, you should provide us with details of those who are members of YCLSA and those who are not so that we can quantify the percentage of participants in this forum with regard to membership of YCLSA. We have started sessions of establishing an SACP branch in my area where political schools are held every Sunday morning (none existed before). With regard to my stance on YCLSA, a letter will be written to the structures of YCLSA in Mpumalanga in due course. I request that you and others in this forum who may want an understanding of my participation in the congress movement to engage me in private. This clarity was meant for those who suspected that my resignation in YCLSA was informed by the COPE tendencies. I must state it categorically and bold that I never joined nor attempt to join any political structure since 1994 except those that affilliate to the congress movement traditions. Neither did I ever thought of COPE as my political asylum as you previously suggested. You have any right to verify the information I had provided with all political structures in South Africa and am sure you will only find my name in progressive structures. The movement has made an investment in me and its time it reaps the benefits. I hope that I have assisted interested cadres with regard to the issue of my political home. I hope that the issue will rest for now unless a new evidence (not fabrications) dictates that it be discussed further. Amandla!! This is an issue that cannot be undermined because as Skizo said "it will be used by the opposition to reduce our (anc) voters. I think that all cadres have a responsibility to educate our masses regarding cabinet as enshined in section 91 of the constitution. It will however require our leaders to also spread cabinet posts to all walks of the country within the ambit of traceable cadreship credentials and capacity. The issue of regionalism and tribalism in the post-apartheid South Africa is deep-rooted issue, so it can not be just dismissed as looking back-wards. In actual sense ordinary people of the republic still fundamentally relate to their regions and tribes. I, like others believe that our current demarcation at (municipalities and provinces levels) do perpetrate differences between regions and tribes. In essence this is one of the aspects of post-apartheid era we should deal with honestly than dismissing. For example in Western Cape regionalism and tribalism is even within the provincial ANC leadership. To be honest, it’s actually one of the attributors, that led to us (ANC) losing the province.
