Comrades, Is it the content or the soapies in general. My view is that media is powerful and can be used to our advantage as a class and what needs to be changed is the content of those soapies. Not all soapies are entirely bad- Soapies like Isidingo had at some point had issues about the conditions of mineworkers. Obviously, the Generations, for example does not want to acknowledge that not far from they act, there is a black township called SOWETO, it pretends as if we only have a city life in South Africa.
