Cadres We are lying to ourselves when we say the NYDA will be better than Umsobomvu and Youth Commission. Melusi is now the acting CEO of the NYDA the very same person who was responsible for Umsobomvu.
The policies of Umsobomvu and Youth Commission were not bad, infact there is no fundamental difference between the mandate carried by the NYDA and the mandate previously carried by the Umsobomvu and Youth Commission. If you deploy people who are incompetent to such structures they are bound to fail. We cant deploy someone who is not qualified to a position which requires skill and experience just because he was a Zuma supporter or he is good in lambasting comrade or he prononced how a sell out Mbeki is. We need people who understands the mandate carried by the NYDA or what we want to achieve through the creation of the NYDA . Cadre Deployment is not wrong and it will never be wrong BUT as long as we deploy capable and competent cadres.
