This tradition is foreign to the congress movement, it has negative elements, too much speculations, and gossipping because we all want to promote our agendas. That is unfortunate because it is happening just after 8 months of Zuma's administration; and two years before our 100 years of existance as a people's parliament, the ANC. What does that mean to our history? Any leader as an ordinary human being will do something wrong but it does not mean he/she is no longer going to remedy that and stick on what is correct. The issue of serving senior positions in various structures within the MDM is not new and will never be a problem if we are loyal to our principles. The issue of radicalism is not new but that need to be informed and seek to provide direction other to lambast individuals. The issue of personalising programmes of our structures will not be correct too. Let us forge unity because we can gain out of it, as oppose to this fighting and intollerent. We have five priorities to focus on, we have to prepare for the 2010 local government elections, and primarily we need to run the political education programme as agreed in Polokwane ANC Conference. When the political classes unfold comrades will learn that individuals can never be elevated above programmes of the movement. It is better when we discuss and debate ideology comrades but not personalise our engagements as charecterised by the latter "nationalisation debate". Together we win, but devided we fall.
