Nkululenko Ngobese has spoken and no need to repeat if suffice to
highlight that whoever wants to objectively engage on this matter must
first of all tell us about their own private life. Baba Zuma's private
life is his alone period and if people want to debate it let them do so
but some of us do not care because we are not holier than him.

Dear Comrades and Cadres!

This is my brief contribution to President Jacob Zuma*s recent media
revelations that he has a child with Irvin Khoza*s daughter.

President Jacob Zuma had consensual sex with Iron Duke*s *daughter*,
and this should not be a matter of public interest or consumption? What
happens in someone*s bedroom is a private matter which does not require
any interference by the media including the State. Journalists and
political elites alike do not write or publicly tell us about their
bedrooms passionate sessions or sexual relationships!

The self-anointed high priest of morality as represented by the DA and
ACDP will argue that President Zuma is married and that he should
respect the institution of marriage. On that one I will disagree. Under
the Capitalist system, marriage is an institution of patriarchal
dominance and equally of unpaid labour. What we need to do here is to
make a clear separation of marriage, morality and privacy. The fact that
one is married is not an automatic license for others to invade and
trash upon their privacy.

Now President Zuma*s private life is undersiege. He has been thrown to
the media wolves; both his dignity and that of the Iron Duke*s daughter
he is *alleged* to have impregnated and involved with have been violated
and compromised in pursuit of circulation margins and profits by the
media which appears more interested in feeding the public junk stories
as if we are residing in America or Italy.

The puritanical witch hunt against President Zuma waged by the liberal
media and the opposition is a typical modern day version of Christian
fundamentalist crusades against *sin*. Married adults, are treated as
though they are de facto sinners and sex pests. This witch hunt
reinforces the idea in the public sphere that it is morally wrong for
either a *married* man or woman to be sexually intimate with an
unmarried partner.

This interference in President Zuma*s private life aims at
re-engineering society to conform to the capitalist sex *norm* of one
man and one woman for life, hence denying the complexity of human
sexuality. One of the greatest Marxist female thinkers Alexandra
Kollontai once made this observation *there is no doubt: under communism
all dependence of women upon men and all the elements of material
calculation found in modem marriage will be absent. Sexual relationships
will be based on a healthy instinct for reproduction prompted by the
abandon of young love, or by fervent passion, or by a blaze of physical
attraction or by a soft light of intellectual and emotional harmony*.

Mas*jule Ngengxoxo!

I'm afraid that is a bit of a stretch, even for me, cde Pres. I don't
think I am going to be able to find Max du Preez's work on private

Isn't the argument over in this matter of private/public settled,
anyway? I mean, the question of condoms and faithfulness has been
preached in public to young people for many years already. The question
of unmarried pregnancies, at least among young women still schooling,
has been in the public realm for years, too.

I think my good and honest comrade Lerato Motimele is correct about
this. If the story is true, then it is nobody but the President (not
you, I mean the State President!) who has embarrassed himself and all of
his supporters. If the story is true, it is the State President who has
handed a stick to Meshoe, and to the DA, to beat us all with.

As for the Zulu manhood thing, eish, can somebody else please deal with
that?

Question: When Mrs Tiger Woods chased him out of the house with a golf
club, and Tiger in his panic drove the family Cadillac into a tree in
the street, was that a public or a private event? Do the YCL comrades
have a view about that, or are they pretending that they never heard
about it?

Cde VC,
I am told Max Du Preez once wrote an opinion piece in the Star about
"private lives" of leaders and he was attacked by his colleagues that
hey are not interested in their private lives but their public issues. I
do not know they seperated the two spheres of life then, public and
private. Can you see if you can pick it up for the forum.

The other papers will still be there, or are you proposing to suppress
them? If they are still there they will still be reporting things like
Kenneth Meshoe's remarks. If you suppress them it could be worse.

Who will be writing for this proposed new ANC paper? Let's say it
employ's 20. Who will they be? Floyd Shivambu? Adam Habib? Joel
Netshitenzhe? Ngoako Ramatlhodi?

If you are not careful we would be out of the frying-pan and into the
fire, with just a few selected voices and none of the ones we would
prefer to hear.

None of that is not going to happen, but if it does or if it does not,
the development of new writers is what matters here.

This forum has helped many writers. Let it continue to do so, and if
they want to write about the President's alleged love-child with the
"Iron Duke's" daughter, then let them. We live in South Africa, not an
ivory tower.

this platform to secure those 1 or 2 votes for a seat in parliament. he
is not a problem the main people are the media and we all know who is
behind the media.......international antirevolutionaries and the DA that
have control of our banks and minerals, we just need to continue at our
work towards nationalization and distribution of wealth this is just a
mere sign that we are doing good everytime an attack is made on our
president.let us also in this spirit propose a newspaper strictly run by
the ANC and accesible to masses and compulsory at schools, a government
paper on progress by the ANC and for the people.

Hi comrades, I have been monitoring your interactions throughout since
from last year and early this year. What is interesting is to see how
eager comrades are to engage on issues, however, it was also quit
interesting how comrades display their shenanigan tendencies, dealing
with petty issues and using derogative language on one another. For an
example this allegation on the president, comrades again allow
themselves to be dictated by the media to craft a debate for them. This
matter is a non matter and there*re far better issues to deal with. The
people affected have not even engaged on the matter if it is true, but
comrades have already expressed opinion on it.

I think lets keep the character of this forum it is, let*s not
vulgarise it cadres
, lets try to be fundamental as much as we can I am
not suggesting that we have to be stiff but lets not loose content.

What about the fact that Moshoe's party was formed 4 months before
elections as a National Party puppet...so what kind of an addict is he.
A slave addict, a sell-out....or whatever...does it really matter. I
think Moshoe is sick, and he needs to be laid hands on by his
congregation before he can proclaim to be a reverend..and later undergo
counselling sessions. He should undergo esteem and ego counselling
sessions, and appreciate who he really is ..not a white puppet hiding
behind the vail of religion..Moshoe is not God...He's a mere right-wing
puppet masquerading as a priest...a puppet who does what he knows
best...howling...solution..disregard him...
