Revlutionary Greetings, The Constituion of the Republic Of Ssouth Africa accords all South Africans a right to stage a strike,to protest and to picket. However all this forms of voiving our grievancies must be peaceful. We must remember that the rights stipulated in the constitution is accompanied by the responsiblity.
Recently the residents of Siyathemba Township in Balbour embarked on protest action over service delivery. There is nothing wrong in voicing our disatisfaction over service delivery. However those grievance must be voiced using correct channels and communicating with relevant authorities. The protest action in Siyabuswa has turned to be violent preventing learners to go to school. One must bear in mind that Mpumalanga province did not achieve good results in matric last(47%).What do you make of this? Onother that is confusing here is that the very same people who are complaining about service delivery are the same people who burnt library.I'm very disappointed with this action. It is unbecoming. How can if we believe in a "better life for all" including our children destroy facilities that are contributing towards aradicating poverty and edicating people. This is taking us back. Why destroy such facility? I stand for correction if I'm wrong when saying leaders of this protest action are coming from the ranks of ANCYL AND YCL.They are using this protest action to gain popularity and campaining for positions. I therefore request that branch leaders to educate all branch members about issues that needs to be taken into consideration when staging protest action. Amandla!!!!!!!
