The branch secretary runs the affairs of the branch in terms of receiving
correspondence, taking minutes and keep the minute book and liase with the
branch chaiperson in drafting agenda and most of them are volunteers his/
her powers are limited within the branch and represent the branch at a zonal
structure and the Secretary General deals with all the affairs of the
organisation and some form secretariat committees comprises of other
regional/ provincial secretaries and he/ she is the administration head of
the organisation and manages the staff at the head office in most
organisation an SG is a full time position with a renumeration and other
packages he/ she represent the organisation locally and abroad and audit the
branches and provide support and development, I would tell you more but now
