*Malema undecided on legal action against City Press * *Stephen Grootes, Eyewitness News, Johannnesburg, 27 July 2011*Julius Malema's attorney Mapoyana Ledwaba on Wednesday said Malema has not yet decided to sue the City Press newspaper for claiming Limpopo business people are paying money into his trust account in return for government tenders.
Ledwaba said Malema's lawyers will keep a close eye on events to see how they unfold.
He said they are watching proceedings and if anything is published that is proved to be untrue they will then act.
Malema is still silent on this issue and has not made any public comment since the City Press report was published.
Meanwhile, Public Protector Thuli Madonsela said she will not investigate Malema's accounts and can only look at how government tenders are awarded.
The Forum of Entrepreneurs Limpopo has called for an investigation into the Limpopo government alleging that a small group of business people are getting all the tenders in the province.
Meanwhile, the Hawks said they are still deciding whether they should launch an investigation against Malema for apparently funding a lavish lifestyle through a secret trust fund.
The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) said the claims are proof that the media is controlled by the Afrikaner Broederbond.
The Hawk's McIntosh Polela said they are still looking into the matter."... We are not investigating and the decision is still to be made," Polela said.
