Apologies for digressing comrades. One looses hope when a police services actively participates directly in industrial labour disputes. The amplats workers are on strike, it is an illegal one for two weeks. Am informed of workers arrested in the last 30 minutes. They were taken to a police station people there are reporting that they are being assaulted. Will this not escalate the tension and breed another marikana. To now at the mine no one is killed except the minor treatments and smashing of vehicles( which I don't condone). When have we lost the passion and determination to uphold the law and respect rights. Would it in retrospect maybe point to that the police provoked the violent reaction. Comrades kindly guide and maybe let's escalate the possible role of the other non transformed, anti worker policemen and women who protect capital by trumping the workers especially the poor.
