He passed on upon his arrival at Chris Hani Bara Hospital. Mike Sontsu, CEPPWAWU, 2.jpg Mike Sontsu, passed on 21 April 2017 Cde Mike Sontsu was the Chairperson of CEPPWAWU Germiston Local, as well as being a CEPPWAWU Wits Region (Gauteng Province) REC member, and also Secretary of the COSATU Germiston Local, at the time of his sudden death. At the national level, Cde Sontsu was a member of CEPPWAWU's National Executive Committee, and was CEPPWAWU's National Negotiator in the Glass Sector. The union is in contact with the family, and with Cde Sontsu's employer, National Auto Glass. We will give more information as soon it is available from the family.
