Due to some hardware problems on my side this build comes later than supposed. Furthermore I was not able to test all the modifications as I wanted. Please notice: The firstboot is set into a debug mode. This is intensional to figure out, why smart does not act as expected. Of course a regular update through the package manager includes those changes as well. The CD ships KDE 3.5.6. That was another reason for the delay. There was no point in shipping a CD that would require an immediate and rather large update. Those are the points which are supposed to be fixed and therefore need special attention during testing: * the grub bootloader should now work on a wider range of systems, lilo is still the automatic fallback option * the home partition dialog should now work again and also report the filesystem if you have an unix filesystem. * package installation on first boot should work, note you can rerun now the initial setup with /usr/lib/yis/common/firstboot.sh regards -- Tobias Gerschner Member of Board of Yoper Linux Ltd.
