In some circles, perhaps. Mercurial is also widely used, very easy to use
and does a very good job.
I'd be happy to say why and to give examples of how to use it for
day-to-day yum stuff, if anyone wants me too. Otherwise, I'll keep the
zealous ranting off this list.
If you are going to be unzealous a bit of balance would be a good idea.
