ED, If a person still identifies with his ego, then his actions/emotions will change in accordance with the situations and circumastances around him. 'Personality' is nothing but a consensual label to these emotions as seen by people in the subjects social group. To dis-identify from the self is to live in the changeless Self.

The most appropriate answer I can think of is: "Yes and no."
