If you'd have said, "...seeing how life is lived moment to moment.", then I'd say this is the perfect way to express your zen (or for zen to express itself thru you). But i think I know what you mean. IMO, koans and the like are merely upaya for those already on the 'path'. What you said not only encompasses upaya, but is living zen for all to see and is infinitely more beneficial than giving snapppy answers to koans (but they are such good fun!).
