When I read JMJM's dismissal of his speach, it comes across to me as a way of acknowledging that words are imperfect ways to share experience. I find it humble and honest, not with the negative connotation I associate with sophisty.
He's not attacking people then pretending he said nothing; he's sharing the words his group uses for their "Theory of Zen Practise" and then disclaiming those words as being just words.
