'Just being' is hard to practice because the tendency to 'just be' has
been weeded out of the human genome by competitive pressures over the
millennia. (Men who tend to 'just be' tend not to do the discursive
thinking needed for planning for a family's safety and properity, and
such men tend not to be favored by females.)

is beyond words. I don't think there's anything wrong with talking
about Zen socially. I think Zen is about getting back to the root of
Buddhism. The four noble truths of Buddhism are suffering, the
accumulation of suffering, the alleviation of suffering and the path
away from suffering. Any religion tends to have a lot of ideology
around it and Zen is about getting past that. Personally I feel like
Zen is about stilling the mind, which it has in common with Yoga.
