Hi Guys

Just a question.. I have just re-read the target 'Bug fix' for version 2rc2 and
noticed a change to the 'Force failover' to 'Test failover' text button.

This will be following feedback (from others and myself) that the process flip
flops between the 2 nodes.

Can you please clarify what the exactly new functionality will be? As the
reason for the original suggestion by myself, was to enable maintenance to
happen on the 'master' node - as the only alternative is to disconnect or power
the 'master' off, which defeats the object of the exercise.

Testing failover is good, but you need to be clear as to what happens when the
button is pressed! In my opinion these two functions are completely different:-
Force Failover - The 'master' node is disabled and the 'backup' node takes on
the role of servicing the farm traffic.
Test Failover - Either the 'master' node temporarily passes control of the
farms to the 'backup' node OR the farm traffic stays where it is and some sort
of token is passed across to the 'backup' node, BUT this is sort of taken care
of by the summary screen??
In a perfect world, it would be nice to be able to fail over individual farms
between the two nodes - this combined with the real server 'maintenance mode'
would make the product very flexible.

Thanks
Nick
