Hi Marco

Do you mean to Ping with an MTU of 500? How do you do that in Linux, please?
I have the error again.

I swear Evolution hates replying to this list.. it always picks the personal
email -.-
(so nick on the other topic: Sorry to have sent it directly to you ;))

For this topic.. did you do the ping with MTU?
(from the loadbalancer to the server thats down)
and any % loss on the 500 ping?

- just for testing it would be also interesting to see if you can get the
destination Zenloadbalancer wants to give.
(for example for the webpage.. try a text based browser and see if you can get
on there).

even tho it's hard to do but my recommendation would be not to directly try and
fix the issue but leave it down while you gather more information about what
exactly is and isn't working.
(same as before.. if you directly recover without knowing the cause - it is a
high chance that the issue will re-occur in the future until the actual problem
has been identified and fixed)

Regards,
Marco

NIck, Can you give more information about this issue? What error did you see if
you access to vip ?
What status of farms cic you detect in GUI ? DOWN? UP?

Can you send us the logs files /usr/local/zenloadbalancer/logs and
/var/log/messages /var/log/syslog ???

There are no changes in lb core between v2rc2 and v2rc1

We are waiting your feedback.

2012/2/20 Nick Furnell <[email protected]> Hi Guys I have
found this situation twice now, once on Friday and now again Monday morning.
The Zen servers are fine, but they do not process any traffic to the 'real'
servers? Real servers are ok - tested them directly Both ZLB servers are ok -
logged in to both of them. Communication between ZLB serves looked ok. Decided
to push the 'Test Failover button'.... it fixed it on BOTH occasions. Any
thoughts as to why ZLB is stopping processing? Nick
