Thanks for the response both of you! :) I was not aware of the "demand" of SNMP to get the paths working, but it makes more sense. I do have other equipment that I could use on the vessels to get SNMP if the lack of eye-candy annoys me using the MUX's. :)
I will fiddle around with the timers on the alerts and see what I come up with as a good solution, the problem is there's no "average drop", it can be 10sec or 20min just because a vessel makes a 180-turn.
