I really appreciate you helping me out. I think my next route will be to do a packet capture. That is a great suggestion.
There is not firewall between the switches and zenoss...and the crazy thing about all this is that one switch will work and the other won't in the same closet, same model switch, same IOS, and essentially the same config!! I have never had such trouble with Zenoss before. They are using snmpv3 now with authPriv. I will have to check out the dev meeting. Thanks for the tip!
