It's not a bug at all. A further search for a similar issue, suggested that the SNMP engineID's might be the same. Well, in my case this was absolutely spot on as quite of few of the (Solaris) boxes here are indeed clones. I've regenerated the engineID's for the boxes with duplicates and everything is working perfectly.
