Yesterday I migrated from SNMP v1 to SNMP v3, and it all generally was working successfully. The only exception is about 10 of the devices that just apparently won't respond to zenperfsnmp, even though an snmpwalk of the tree shows everything it should. Here are the errors.
2009-08-18 14:16:10 WARNING zen.zenperfsnmp: host1 SNMP agent down 2009-08-18 14:16:10 INFO zen.zenperfsnmp: success:54 fail:2 pending:9 todo:0 2009-08-18 14:16:10 WARNING zen.zenperfsnmp: host2 SNMP agent down 2009-08-18 14:16:10 INFO zen.zenperfsnmp: success:54 fail:3 pending:8 todo:0 2009-08-18 14:16:10 WARNING zen.zenperfsnmp: host3 SNMP agent down I've tried increasing the level of debug and also putting it in watchdog mode (as per the debugging recommendations) but it provides insight into why it is failing. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look to see why zenperfsnmp is failing to gather data for these particular hosts?
