Darn, for some reason I forgot to hit submit on my response yesterday. Yes all forty servers have two IP's. However the mgmt address is listed in Zenoss and we setup a COMMAND type data source that runs check_ping against the public address. I have an update, the most chronic offender this morning was going down/up down/up all morning. When I arrived it was down. I tried to ssh in and couldn't, ping worked, but I was forced to get into the console via the drac card and sure enough the machine had choked and ran out of memory. I'm beginning to think this is a machine issue with these handful of servers. Thanks your help. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=36229#36229 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
