I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas on this one. I have a Windows device
that I added to a device class that specifies a few monitoring angles
(zenperfsnmp should read the base three SNMP Informant-based counters,
zencommand should run one command monitor, and of course zenwin/etc. should
perform their functions). Other devices in this class are functioning
properly--all the graphs are painting. However, this one has nothing--not a
single graph is working. I am not seeing any error messages in the logs.

I have taken the following troubleshooting steps so far:

- Confirmed that the device is not decommissioned in Zenoss
- Remodeled the device
- Restarted the its SNMP service
- Reset its bindings to the defaults for the device class
- Deleted from Zenoss (including events, performance graphs) and re-added
- Confirmed that its Windows Firewall is off
- Temporarily moved the device to a different device class to see if it will
reset things

zencommand run -v10 -d <device> yields a message that zencommand has no
commands in its schedule, but it should have commands--the others in this class
do.

How can I troubleshoot this? I restarted zencommand and zenperfsnmp last
evening because I was having similar problems with other machines, but all of
those are now working properly. I performed these restarts because zenperfsnmp
in particular was reporting messages like the following during startup and
shutdown:

2009-07-09 18:07:11 WARNING zen.zenperfsnmp: Error loading config for devices
['device1.domain.local', 'device2.domain.local']

After the restart, I stopped receiving such messages from zenperfsnmp. However,
this machine is still perplexing me.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
