first thanks for the reply.
I want to make sure I have this proper so please bear with me . I am going to
do the following in order.
remove/un-install 2.4
install 2.3.3
restore database from my pre 2.4 upgrade backup
follow your instructions for clearing the cache
follow 2.4 upgrade instructions
