THE TOTO AWARDS 2006 YOU ARE INVITED! The second annual TOTO Award day is almost upon us: Friday, 20 January, 2006, from 6.30 pm in the evening at CROSSWORD Bookshop, ACR Towers (opposite Gateway Hotel) on Residency Road TOTO FUNDS THE ARTS gives annual awards to young artists for promise and excellence in the arts. The TOTO for music this year will be presented to the Mumbai metal band, Demonic Resurrection. The TOTOs for creative writing are being shared by Shakti Bhatt, S.S. Prasad and Nisha Susan. The evening will be celebrated with readings by the award-winning writers. Anjum Hasan, poet and critic, will introduce the readings.
