One of my customers is using ZFs on IBM DS4800 Lun's. They use one lun for each ZFS pool if it matters. They want to take the pool offline from one server and take it nline from an other server. In summary they want to take the control of a ZFS pool if the primary server fails for some reason. I know we can do it with Sun Cluster how ever this is pretty complex and expensive . How can this be achieved?
