The file names are like:

image.dpx[0000000]
image.dpx[0000001]
image.dpx[0000002]
image.dpx[0000003]
image.dpx[0000004]
.
.
.

So they will surely trip up Al Hopper's bad algorithm.
It is pretty common that images arranged in sequences have the common 
part up front so that sorting works.
