I've found the Seagate 7200.12 1tb drives and Hitachi 7k2000 2TB drives to be by far the best.
I've read lots of horror stories about any WD drive with 4k sectors....it'sbest to stay away from them. I've also read plenty of people say that the green drives are terrible.
